Well, it is not chicken pox!! YEAH!! It is, however, some crazy reaction to his medication for his thrush...at least that is what the doctors think. So, Gabriel is now off his medication for his thrush. Ok, I guess, since it is almost gone. He still doesn't feel well but we are managing. I can't wait for him to be well again...I really can't.
Ok, just when you think it can't possibly get any worse, Murphy's Law kicks in and it all hits the fan! Just to let you in on the past few days...Gabriel finished his medication for his ear infection (10 days worth) on Monday. Tuesday, I drop him off at PDO on my way to school. About noon, Christina's school calls to let me know she has had some reaction from a field trip they went on to the greenhouse at the university, so I have to leave school to go pick her up. She comes back to school with me and sits thru a really boring class and then we go pick Gabriel up. When I picked him up from PDO they told me he had Thrush, so I rushed him to the doctor to find out that his ear infection also had not gone away AT ALL. So here I am, at the doctor's office with Gabriel. I had to have my 92 year old grandmother pick up Christina to take her to her doctor because her appointment was shortly after I got Gabriel to his doctor - which was fixing to close. So, she goes to her doctor to find out what the reaction was all about and come to see that it was due to her being dehydrated. Ok, we can deal with that. So, now I have Gabriel taking 3 prescriptions and Christina needing to drink more fliuds...this is managable. But it doesn't stay there. Thursday, I take Gabriel to his sitter, so I can go to school. Right before I pick him up, his jerk of a father calls - for the first time in over a month - and proceeds to be an idiot on the phone...what else is new. I'm not even going there here. So, I pick up Gabriel and he has what appears to be a heat rash on his legs...at least that is what we hope it is, AND he is cutting 2 teeth. When I say cutting, I mean cutting. They are swollen and coming on up and he has become a drool factory! Ok, I think we can deal with this. That is until I get back home that night from my night class and go to change his diaper and his "heat rash" looks more like chicken pox! Now I'm getting frantic. What the hell do we do now? Well, I take him to a friend who is a doctor and he isn't real sure if it is a rash or the chicken pox. I'll just have to wait until tomorrow morning (which is this morning) to see if they are the pox or just spots...Well you know what? I can't tell, so I don't know what the heck it is that is all over his legs, stomach, and partially on his back! I know I didn't get any sleep last night because Gabriel didn't sleep much because of the ear infection, the thrush in his mouth and on his privates, the rash from hell on his body and now he has yellow stuff coming out of his nose that is affecting his breathing. His little body is going through a lot and he is still in a pretty good mood about it all! Me, on the other end am exhausted!! Murphy's Law sucks.

OK, here goes...

OK, here goes something. I am going to try to figure this thing out...be patient, age is not on my side here.
